I am getting a squeaky noise when driving. I think my OEM inner splash guards are the cause. When I shake the OEM spalsh guards the clips are loose causing a squeak. Does anyone if they had similar issues with the OEM splash guards?

With these, do the upgraded clips have any 'play' in them? Might need to upgrade to these.

No play with the Upg mounting clips, they’re beefy and fasten all the way through.

Thanks for chiming in @Gmak621 I’m glad the OG PROTEC splash guards have served you well over the years!

Best way to describe the V2 TRAILTEC series is like going from a iPhone 1 to the 14 Pro Max. (After testing versions 2-13 over the years and not releasing) TRAILTEC’s are the pinnacle of Tacoma engine protection.
