I had mine placed with a dealer for a LR TRD OR on August 23rd. They still haven’t gotten one. Thankfully another dealership I put a deposit down with in early January has one coming, although it’s not exactly what I wanted. Was supposedly built 3/3. Hopefully I’ll get it in April….

That would be me. This will be used to Run to Costco 7 miles away and occasional Lowes 1.5 miles away. Figue I should have about 800 miles on it at the end of the year :).

I just got the regular premium audio (not the JBL). The tweeters made a HUGE difference! The door speakers not so much. But I think I might have a small amp installed to give them a little more power and then it will really be an improvement. But, yeah, just the tweeters alone made a big difference

I am being quoted 6-7 months, and then "a long time" for a DCSB Lunar Rock OR with Premium package, in So Cal.

thanks, looks like you got the "Premium Audio and Navigation Package, with options"
I'd be interested to know how the amp with improve it. Was the sound passable before? I'm still trying to find a truck to test drive with the package I'm looking for

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
Put a deposit down today on a 22 Off-Road, double cab, automatic, 4x4. I really like 3 paint colors (MGM,AG,Silver), so whichever of the 3 hits their allocation first is the one I'll get. I'm in Florida and got MSRP with no add-on's, and a 999 dealer fee.

I've been a forum member since 2011 and this will be my first Tacoma. My 1gen 4runner will stay in for any hardcore wheeling.

Now I wait, I was told it could be 4 months or more. Maybe high gas prices will move some other buyers out of the way.

My ETA just got pushed back... again. I was told when I put the deposit down in December that it would be here by the end of February. Then it was 3/18-3/23. Now it shows 3/24-3/29. This is torture knowing that it's built and is just sitting there at the factory

For Washington state residents, Marysville Toyota in Washington says they are "currently below MSRP" on new Tacomas. They don't sell to out of state...

I walked into my dealer on 12/8, and took delivery on 2/26.

2022 midnight black w/leather, DCSB, TRD OR, Manual, Advanced Tech package, Premium package, LED headlights. Definitely would’ve received it sooner, but I wanted a manual and tech/premium options.

Denver area, MSRP with no added charges.

v-spec link broke yesterday, exact match with permanent VIN appeared on dealer site today. V-spec on that permanent VIN says ETA of 3/8 - 3/10 That'd be amazing!

Toyota app still shows truck with temp VIN (ending 07C751). Even when I tap into vehicle specs, which is the fields also shown in the v-spec link. I'm guessing this info is all cached for a while in the mobile app, suggesting the link is a more timely indicator than the app for temp VINs

I’m a week 7 temp VIN too and it dropped out of the app and I couldn’t re-add it on 2/29 but Thursday I tried re-adding it and it worked???
My temp VIN never worked on the vspec site. No updates from my dealership yet either so I got no clue what’s going on.

First post for me on here. I’ve been waiting until I actually get confirmation but just put a deposit down on a Nightshade in Wind Chill Pearl.

    Timeline:
November 2021 - Told the local dealership that’s I wanted a Limited in Wind Chill Pearl (I wanted white and wife hates regular white so we compromised).

March 2 - Dealer calls and says they are getting what I wanted but it would be Nightshade package and asked if that was ok… HECK YEAH that’s ok.

March 5 - Put down deposit. No rate adjustments. No dealer mark ups. Just agreed to MSRP and gave them money to hold it. They gave me the temp VIN and it has an estimated build date of April 5.

    None yet
Put my deposit in on 12/1.
Emailed and texted with my "Digital Sales Manager" a number of times.
His turned into what he called his monthly check in. Scary that they were monthly.
Last message was a week ago and still waiting.
Never got an allocation notice or temp vin or anything like that.
Today I got a text that my truck came in last night. Then an email with the window sticker and a real vin. A handful of small options that I can live with tacked on.
    Should pick it up tomorrow
