Merry Christmas to me - Thanks to SCS

I really like the Gen5. That's actually the wheel I wanted when I was suckered into playing their bro-gram games. I really like the clean simplicity of them. But I was never quick enough on the keyboard.

Now my rant: I had good money burning a hole in my pocket for a set of F5s in gunmetal with zero offset. Here’s my money; take it. But no. I looked and waited and looked and waited. No more. The love is gone, and I’ve so moved on. Blow me SCS.

 

To be honest.. not sure where this is all coming from. I read this forum a bunch before buying these wheels. Saw everyone complaining about inventory and everything y’all are saying here.

Then I tried to sell these wheels and CRICKETS! Sure, maybe folks wanted a different specific wheel but with all the complaining people do (see above) about SCS and their inventory/business practices, I would have thought I’d sell these in a day or two.

And in full disclosure I’m not defending SCS or really taking a side one way or another bc I don’t know enough about it. Just saying I was a bit surprised that it was so hard to sell a full set of 5 wheels.

If you were selling a set of Ray10's, F5's or Gen5's I'd have snatched them up in a heartbeat. And Im pretty sure others would have too.

Also, I live just about as far from Connecticut as you can get Stateside. Haha

 

haha fair, shipping was a beast for these. UPS wanted $95 a box to Cali.

 

Ouch. Yeah that's pretty rough, it'd have been about the same to Oregon I'm sure.

I will say there was a month there over the summer where I would have considered driving across the country for one of the sets I listed above in the color I wanted. But I'm very happy with what I ended up getting.

And seriously man, they do look fantastic on your truck. And I'm glad you were able to hang onto them to see just how good they look. And great tire choice, those are what I'm running too. Win, win, win.
