Has anybody ever switched the seats in their gen 3 Tacoma? My lovely and most admirable and sweet most beautiful and smart and kind. (Well kinda smart). Decided to change my sons diaper that had a blow out on the drivers seat so it wouldn’t get onto her seat. She also said that it was easier to get to. So maybe not so smart. Back on topic. The seat has baby doo doo ground into the seat cushion. I was wondering if you can switch the seats with another TRD off road or TRD pro seats. I have heated seats and then the airbag in it.

I'm screeching inside. That sounds terrible. Even if you get seat covers, probably worth taking it to a detailer to see what they can do to get it out. Or if you know anyone with those Bissell cleaners? Got my puppy's barf out of my seats pretty well. I'd hate knowing it's still in there :annoyed: Maybe you could find a replacement seat in a scrap yard from someone who got rear ended?

Time consuming but you could remove the seat cover and wash it. I for one would douse it in gas and throw a flare on it!

Maybe replace the seat with the Katzkin? If not, then I’m sure you could buy new to you seats from people removing their seat delete?
Wait, which seat has little human poo?

Edit:driver seat.. forget everything I said lol

Sounds like a part out to me... total loss... I'll take the rear locker...

Any 3rd gen seat will bolt into place. This would be a good time to consider doing the power seat mod for the driver's, if you can find it. Otherwise find the seat that matches what you have or a set that you like...an autowrecker is a good place to start.

The mental image I get from your name here at TW makes it hard to focus on anything you are saying.

    Airborne. Fister.

Don't threaten me with a good time.

Tell your wife these things have tailgates :puke:

I don't even let my girl to eat in my truck. Changing a damn diaper in it? Holy shit man...I'd pop a blood vessel or stroke out. My blood pressure is up just thinking about it.

Yeah the tailgate makes a perfect changing table.

    Yea. I would do t
so it is a military thingy. I am a paratrooper and I am a forward observer.

and my tailgate has the the mountain hatch cutting board. We used it the night before to cut and cook a bunch of burgers and hotdogs. She said that “I was scared to get poop on our cooking surface.” I said easier to clean up then the drivers seat. But found out prime car wash will remove all the stains and everything from the seat cushions. Good to know since it also includes a hardcore interior clean. Get all the sand and mud and ashes from fire pits that I park to close to. Out of the cab and bed.

Take your truck to any detailer worth their salt and the seat will be fine. I’m promise you…I’ve saturated coffee into a tan cloth seat in another vehicle before and it all came out

So, does anybody know this answer. I know we have all weather food mats if you ordered them. Are the seats more suitable to have water and drink on them? I’m asking since I have 2 kids and the seem to destroy everything yet my seats in my Tacoma, which look better than the leather ones in my skyline and the Leather ones in my wife’s jeep trail hawk.

The stock seat material is very durable and fairly stain resistant.

    This was ment for @Montana_Actual
Yea hey some need points and other are jumping so much that they get 2-3 in a day. I also went thru jumpmaster and MFF and pathfinder. And was a Rigger. I am a 250+ jump chump. So I’ll give you some. I was attached to 2nd battalion 5Th special forces group HHC (I AM NOT SPECIAL FORCES QUALIFIED.) just was stuck to them to pack their chutes and then went to FO school since I had a clearance. And then they pulled me to their HHC and would send me out with the ODAs and ODBs. Since I was the only one “qualified” to call in strikes. But the guys would learn quickly use my call sign and drop ordnance while I was laying down suppressive fire. I will say they are lazy. They would rather drop a bomb or artillery instead of shooting their rifles. But I will say if the doo doo hit the fan I wouldn’t want anybody else there to have my 6. I wrecked a motorcycle in 2012 and was paralyzed. They jumped into the airport here in INDIANA and came to see me. The entire battalion. All the nurses knew and they were coming. And that day they all had their har done nice new scuba and kept asking questions like how do we flirt with military guys. (Civilian hospital). I didn’t know what was going on so I kept asking why the nurses were all primmed and proper. Then the guys all came in and since I saved a few of their asses in the Stan. They felt like it was only necessary to come visit me.

Think insurance would cover it? Or should I do it in my garage and claim it under both?

I tried that but it was just pushing stuff into the seat. It doesn’t stink. Just used a bunch of baby wipes and put a hoodie over it for the drive home.

Also, thanks everyone for your ideas and input. Prime got it out. Just cannot go thru their car wash since I have a bed rack. They think that their brushes will rip against it. I didn’t want to argue since they would be dealing with poop.
