Put together a dedicated set of snow tires this week, and was able to get them on today. Pro rims, Blizzak DM-V2s, and cloned sensors. It was a good day to test them out as well, huge difference! Now I just need to find an overlay or different center cap to get rid of the red TRD.
I’m guessing it’s wear and age (15k miles), but the Pirellis were sliding all around this winter, seemed way worse than last winter. Must have wore the points off of my 3 peak mountain snowflake.
Also did Tufskinz mud flaps, and pulled out my DDI seat jackers and replaced with just MMP brackets. I like the multi mount panel, but the seat jackers didn’t change much for me.

ARE topper. Mud guards, factory steps, third bed rail behind cab, tacorail accessory holder, ram mount tablet mount, hood wrap and retro stripes. Bug shield and window shields. Molle seat cover on tear seat.
Yeah, I got mine prettied up for a road trip and gas is close to 4 bucks. Driving the wife's Corolla everywhere right now to save gas.

Today I put white paint on the pointer/arrow of the climate control knobs and painted the other parts that look like pointers black….I always look at them and think WTF were they thinking…I know I am far sighted but still it’s confusing for the visually challenged…

285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders. Garmin Mini Dash Cam 2. CMC by Milogen Fabrication.
Got the RCI skids in. The transmission skid was a PITA by myself. I was able to get my finger in between the front skid and the frame to lift the nylon spacer and slide the transmission skid forward but no luck on the drivers side. Then a lightbulb lit up over my head and I reached in my pocket and grabbed my keys; the tailgate key with the weird squared off end was designed for the job! :D After that all I can say is get the carriage bolt done on the drivers side first, PITA! Glad that it’s done. Might take it to Hollister Hills tomorrow and try it out.

Look at TVD Vinyl Decals. He's a vendor here. Had mine on a year so far without issue.

There's a lot of things about the truck that make me thing "WTF were they thinking" and not the least of which are the pointers on the HVAC controls.

Amen to that. Thinking about painting the pointer slit or whatever that thing is that tells you where the setting is International Orange.

Because your solution makes sense and requires very little $$$, Wonder if these would help:

I had the same issue as well - I just put a hoseclamp on the exhaust hanger and tightened it until the pipe cleared. 30 second fix that didn’t require dropping the skid again. The hose clamps don’t last forever though, so I may put spacers like in the link you shared.
