Yeah you can do the SOS conversion.

The owner of this truck had one and used the Sequoia MC conversion and said it stopped wonderfully.

I've seen this kit. I may end up doing it for the Tacoma.

I’m rebuilding a 1st gen Sequoia junkyard axle and putting on a 930 boot on the inner cv and the boot is obviously too large. Can anyone tell if it’s the axle or the boot that’s not right? I got the 930’s from Nexgen and the axle from a Cart-part.com listing. The tag on the axle says 2005 Sequoia. Should be the same as a 1st gen Tundra. It’s the round not tripod style inner cv.

I believe you need this one which is for a 930 with a flange that is smaller than the actual 930 cv. The boot you have is meant to clamp over the entire 930 cv.

Do you know who sells it or a part number?

I don’t know at this point what to think. I found this thread from a Tundra forum and nothing but problems with 930 boots. There’s comments in here about the boot being too big to work. The weird thing is, Kartek’s 930 boots says specifically that it’s used for a Tundra or Tacoma as an inner replacement, but you have to use the old boot flange to line the 930?! The original factory Tundra inner boot is a much smaller diameter than the 930 so it makes no sense at all. I’m more confused now that I was before!

this should work for you and what I am running on my inners. I also have tundra axles from Amazon with the round cv versus the “dimpled”.
Never had a problem at all.

I also use outers from Marlin Crawler, again no issues at all

    good luck.

Why not get the KTKBAT101 from kartek
Get the first tundra or seqoia cvs, they have a bigger cup and when modified they give you more articulation

I got the same boot from Nexgen and it’s too big. Bat101 is the Bates number for it. I’m in the middle of rebooting some 1st gen Sequoia axles.
