I'm sure this has been said in a post at some point lol.

I'm not complaining about my mpg or anything, but I find it interesting that I put on 265/75r16 10 ply tires with no lift and my mpg stayed around 17-19 depending on the day, but I put a 2/1 leveling kit on and it dropped to 14-16 and that is with me babying it going 60-65, when I was able to do 70. Interesting how much aerodynamics affect it (my guess anyways) since I didn't change anything else. Along with that, it seems that my truck is searching for gears a lot more as well.

And finally lol, I got better mpg putting in it the manual shift mode, got a whopping 17 mpg going 70.

So my guess is that the decrease in aerodynamics negativity affected the shifting some how haha. Anyways, anyone else have similar experiences lol?

I was just thinking of doing the same thing..265/75R16 10 ply with 2" front and back.
Not sure I want to after reading your experience.

It is winter gas time still in Montana, so I am thinking that could be a factor in some level. But it has been warm enough recently to not have to warm up the truck before driving. I will make my full decision around summer time as that is when I am planning on wheels and tires, so if I have to I will just return to stock height sadly. If I could stop myself from calculating mileage that would probably help lmao.
