I was told that also but they have the 500 deposit wait list for allocation. But they were really nice there.

You got yours FAST! What area are in? The time line you experienced is sounding like what I my dealer told me.

That's a start! Wonder if the gas prices are making them nervous. Just hit 4.10 here today.

It’s about 4.35 here. Did see 4.99 for reg unleaded and even 5.99 for diesel in Monroe. Crazy.

I’ve been looking for a truck for a long time. I was kicking my self for not placing an order awhile ago. But I figured I might as well do it now. Phoned a few dealer today and w told the same thing 4-6 months. On my way home from work I stopped at one I didn’t call. Same thing 4-6 months. Salesman says well if you don’t want to wait I have a pro not spoken for it’s landed and will be here in 3 weeks. We talked a bit about how the market was and there’s nothing out there. He was saying that they have 200 trucks and cars sold but all waiting and that they don’t get paid till delivery. Told him I didn’t really want the pro because it’s too much money and the only way I’d buy it is if I got a deal thinking he’d tell me to pound sand. Well 30 mins later I left a deposit for $1500 under msrp no other fees and $500 more for my trade then any other dealer would give me. It was a lucky day I guess

Nah I bought my 22 Lunar Rock MT from them in December and got a $1000 discount from MSRP. There’s a handful of dealers in WA that give discounts if you’re nice to your sales guy :)

Can someone check this VIN for me and let me know what the status is? Put down a deposit 12/31 Lunar Rock Trail Edition 2022...tagged on an allocation listed in freight on 2/8. Supposed to be delivered 2/28, but dealer says it hasnt been released by Toyota yet and has no update. Seems like you all are better at getting info than the dealer is. Thanks!

I dislike how we feel we got a great deal, paying MSRP, or even just under MSRP. Good deals are.

    Paying Invoice
    Paying Invoice + $100.00

Yes, I did work for a dealer, for many years. A good month is when we moved "X" amount of units, no matter the cost. We made money at the F-n-I office, and parts and service.
