What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

It shouldn't be that tight from factory. I wonder if someone over tightened it. I'd say give it some beans and don't overtighten the new one

 

Forget the raptor lights, they’re overdone and don’t look right on a taco IMHO. What do you think of the RCI sliders so far? I have them in my cart.

 

I've had RCI sliders in my cart for a month...and SSO sliders...and CBI sliders...and...

And I have the goofy raptor lights since they were included when I bought my grille. I keep telling myself I'll remove them when one burns out but the damn things just won't give out!

 

I think I’ll probably forgoe them the more I think about it..

As for the sliders - I absolutely love them! The quality feels absolutely superb and they bolted up super easy without issue. Now I see why RCI’s sliders come so highly recommended around here..

One thing I learned when disassembling large Multi-function printers was to tighten a screw slightly to break the lock on it. Then you can loosen much easier.

 

wonder instead of little lights, it is could accommodate a light bar instead?

yea a nice locking tailgate lock, that locks when i lock my doors, pop n lock and a tonneau cover too

 

I use this in the aviation industry also! Works great!

Replaced OEM air filter with a K&N air filter

 

August 2021 I bought some new tires and wheels. Found a set of TRD like rims and put on a set of 265x70x17" Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

 

I am thinking about doing the same. Just filled up last night. I was down to a quarter tank and it was $76 at Costco!

 

I did that too - had them in every car I owned. The haters are going to come out and say you’ll ruin your MAF - but if you’re smart about oiling and resting it, you won’t.

 

Looks good - I’ve been toying with getting a set of the ridge grapplers.
