does the little hole allow more fluid into the container as it expels the air out?

Nice I did the same. Question, how did you replace the license plate bulbs? I've had my bulbs for about a year but haven't figured out how to get the old bulb out :(

So, now I'm very interested in what the actual glue is that they are using. Have they tapped into the secret of barnacle glue?!

I assume they get up to highway speed every once in a while. Do the taller ones stay attached? @rgljr831 follow him around for a bit and lets us know. (jkg)

Yes thats the idea, I suspect that the inside collar throttles the fill capacity to prevent splash out of the cap vent, but I've decided otherwise. :)

I JUST did the cmc myself after getting 33s with a 16 by 8, zero offset wheel. The toyota expert near me actually just had someone in with the jba, and the guy is returning them because they couldnt get as good of an alignment as they did with mine. Spend once cry once!

 I know the guy hit a parked car in reverse after backing out of a parking lot at a high rate of speed and whipping it around. Not one thing came off the vehicle, amazing! Unfortunately for him it was a DUI. I’ve seen it parked in the same spot for almost a year now; he should be getting his privileges reinstated soon. I’ll follow from a safe distance if I spot him around town.

Nice and thank you! My grille from Empyre seems pretty decent quality. One thing though, did you notice that the top OEM screw that secures the TSS sensor was too small for the hole in the Empyre grille? The hole was way too big on my and I couldn’t use the original screw..

That’s what I was thinking. The couple hundred extra would be money well spent. I just got some new wheels, 16x8 with a 4” backspace and a -12 offset. Should be enough room with the SPC’s. Thanks again!

No, they are super thin metal. More of a splash guard than anything really..

The gas tank skid on an OR is plastic. The rest are just slightly thicker than a pop can.

Yes they do. The bars I removed yesterday when installing the transmission skid were meant to protect the catalytic converters but felt like they would fold easily if you dropped down on anything. Feel much better with the steel RCI skids even though they around 80+ pounds combined.

What else did I do?? Here in florida it gets hot, and I got tired of my forearm resting on the standard arm rest working up sweat even with the aircon going. So I made a thin armrest cover, sewed in an elastic band to hold it in place. Well that worked for about 6 months before the stitches let go altogether and the cover was sliding everywhere. SO I found one of those natural skin rugs at the local HomeGoods doodads store and brought it home. Made a template, cut the natural skin to size, shaved it with that home haircut Kit I bought in 2021 when everyone was sitting on their family room couch, then I bought a pneumatic upholstery stapler off Amazon. I took off the armrest from the Tacoma, disassembled it, left the stock OEM fake leather rubber cover on it, and proceeded to staple my new cover on. Here are the results. I'm completely satisfied. That purple thing near drivers belt latch is my dashboard duster. :) Do you think it is unique?1armTemplate.jpg 2armrestStaples.jpg 3armrestStapleComplete.jpg 4InstalledArm.jpg 5armFinalInstallUnderside.jpg 6armFinalinstalltop.jpg

I watched a couple of videos for guidance. One guy just broke the clips off since he was replacing them anyway. The other guy was able to get a flathead screwdriver in there and press inward...releasing it outward...which is what I did.

Keep at it...I was frustrated with one side so I went to the other and it popped right off. Then I came back to the one that originally frustrated me.

    Here are some photos:

This one shows the connection for the new LED. But imagine the little halogen bulb in there in its place.

Did you replace the stock hydraulic springs on the Diamondback?

Hahahhaha, yes they do. I always have said the gas tank skid ia less protective than a school lunch tray.
