I thought that's probably what it was but from the only 2 pictures i was confused if it was just the opening doors or not

Yeah I had to read through a few times before it made sense to me as well. The pics and description are pretty misleading.

You're good. I figured it was as well but the subscription of what you were getting kinda sucked.

I can cut and diy my own but was thinking the best material to use. Don't want to use plywood.

Do you have a Tap Plastics near you? I've been thinking about DIYing one of these myself and that's where I'd start.

I don't unfortunately. I wish. I'd rather build it out of hard plastic than wood but doubt that's going to be an option.

Hmm....maybe Melamine laminated plywood? There has to be somewhere you can source sheets of ABS or the like?

Hopefully this raptor liner smell goes away soon or I'm gonna be driving my truck high as a kite.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
That's gonna take a few days. Leave you windows cracked open if you can. Park in the sun, also if you can...

I can order a big enough piece of ABS online at a reasonable price. Thought about doing it with it.

It's coming along. I need to figure out how Goose does their rear. The window mechanism sticks out too much to mount the panel flush and at 90* of the platform. Gonna throw in a plate underneath then mount some drings through it. A cargo net is planned as well. Need to laser up the other door too. Was going to look at mounting foam or another insulator around the vents to cut the road noise. Going to mount more sound dampening to the backside and underside when I get some more free time. Thought about running plasti dip in the cargo space to make it look good but also so shit doesn't roll around on metal.

I used 15 series 80/20. That 1.5" seems to be a good amount of spacing to clear the mechanism.

Just bought 36" 250lb slides from the zon. Hoping that's enough to slide the fridge out. Fridge says 25" in length. Hoping the extra 10" will clear the door enough.

Can't get over how expensive slides are.

It's an add-on, not part of the 40/60 kits.

I asked in the dog thread, but has anyone here designed their own dog ladder/ramp? I'm thinking of trying to do a ramp that could slide in and out from under the rear platform. So maybe raise the current platform up an inch or two. Have some basic rail or sliders to pull the ramp out. And then maybe even have a table leg I could put under it to prop it up if needed when camping, as a prep table

I posted my deck build sometime back in this thread. I promised to publish plans but I've been pretty lazy. This was a cold snowy New England weekend and I was pretty bored. So...here it is, I made a 3D model of my deck and a set of detailed drawings for all the parts. New Link here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1817851916/gen3-toyota-tacoma-rear-seat-delete

Here is a YT video where I go over the plans and provide tips (important to watch if you plan to build):

    Here is the original video:

Enjoy, post pics of your builds, any questions, or need a missing dimension just ask.

EDIT: here is a link to the CAD files:

Working on the back piece. Need a 1/2" bit to finish drilling the back plates. Gonna order a bolt in dring and mount it through the bracket. Figured that would stop the flex if I have to ratchet something down.
