Oh yeah, I know the feeling, it happens to me all the time. Lol.

Page 1 has been heavily updated as of last night and today to reflect the many old and new changes and parts that I was not able to add before but finally got a chance to sit down and grind out a little bit of time to do so. You guys rock. Stay awesome.

My 2008 frame had no rust till about 2/3 years ago. Ever since ColoRADo switched from sand and salt grains to some crazy salt liquid. It’s great for roads but attacks metal like no other. Would love to get my frame dipped with POR15

So I think my fuel pump is giving out on me. I'm getting a p0174 and it started running like crap on the way home yesterday while towing my sxs. Got a buddy coming over to help me check fuel pressure today.

Thinking of going with the urd kit. Anyone have any other recommendations? Or which pump to go with? I noticed on the OG post it says the aem 320 e85 pump?

I shouldn't need any tuning right?

Also I read some ppl saying to buy an upgraded hose from racetronix? Is that still a thing or are the kits better now?

    I'd appreciate any help!

Would that be enough if I wanted to upgrade the pulley later on?

Also, I read the walbro is loud?

Does upgrading the pump require tuning?

Nope. That’s why there is a FPR
    I know a Walbro 255 is good for 500rwhp

No tuning required. People say it’s loud…..it very well may be but I can’t tell because my truck is loud(er). That is still more then enough for a smaller pulley. I had a 2.7 and now back to a 2.8.

Man that's funny, my truck is loud AF. I suppose one more noise would hardly be noticeable

    Thanks man!

I was thinking the same too but I didn't know if additional flow would cause an issue. Figured I'd see what everyone on here is doing. Thanks man

No sweat. I think some guys just do a bigger unit to start knowing they are gonna go crazy with mods. Some say it’s overkill some say you’ll need it. 255 with what I’ve done has been just fine.

Yea I like the better safe than sorry approach but a pulley is as far as I would go on this thing.

Did you do the "upgraded" hose for the urd kit? Or just installed it as it came?

Lol. I said the same thing. I have still kept it kinda conservative but it is safely modded more on the heavy side. Nope, I used what came with the kit.

Peeps reco the AEM pump or something that can also handle E85.

I went with the walbro 255 (on 2.8 pulley) but havent done the upgrades. The walbro is louder than stock but muted by everything else (radio, exhaust, blower).

No tuning is needed if you just add the fuel pump. But I hope that the fpr boost reference mod is done.

Spray can, with a long flexible hose attached. Got one of those hoses myself. Just for that reason.

When I was shopping for TRD Pro Tundras mid 2020 the prices were still reasonable. I backed out of my preorder because they were raising it $5k upon arrival. In reality I should have just bought it because the next year that same truck was $15k more. Issue I have with the IS500 is it can’t tow the sxs I want to get when I move.
