Looks good! Did you put the vent on the top of the gas nozzle compartment? I’m getting ready to do this same thing and was trying to figure out where exactly I was going to put the new check valve.

It's still clean! I'm not that tough on car interiors, but GF is a whole completely different story. I had thought this through, and if it ever gets to the point where it needs a good scrubbing I'll submerge it in a bucket of warm water and woolite detergent-you ever use that stuff? Dirt just flows off of garments and then they're squeaky clean. I'll then leave in in the sunshine all day to dry it, removing it from vehicle is the only disassembly required.

An object hit the top passenger side of my windshield while barely entering the freeway last night. Crack is from top to almost halfway down the windshield instantly. :annoyed:

Not the OP but I’m getting ready to install mine as well. I think I’ll put mine in the drivers side taillight cavity; no drilling required. Just my.02

lol, I just installed the Level 1 tail light mod from Meso and I can see everything behind me. Also, one of the perks of having a manual is that I can now pop it out of gear and touch the reverse switch without actually putting it in reverse while going down the interstate to annoy those that can't seem to figure out what the blue flying bullet light is on their dash.

Yes, if I drilled any closer to the door I wouldn’t have been able to get it back in place so go a bit deeper if you go by the gashole

Prinsu is off in prep for the roof wrap tomorrow morning.. truck looks almost naked without it.

    20220306_155200.jpg

Upgrading to stainless hardware while it's off.. these are the stock main roof bolts after about a year.

i was debating the tail light too. I think it’s safer and no drilling. To be honest I’ve been holding off debating between the 2.

    I
Had a rock hit about the same location and cracked out an inch and a half instantly. Makes me wonder if it’s a weak spot the way the glass is curved there?

Just put my rack on and was wondering how these bolts would hold up. I might swap them out after seeing this. I may encapsulate them in silicone also. It would make removing them more difficult but I don’t plan on removing them often.

At least that is generally covered by insurance. Could've been worse. Could've hit the paint.

Probably 'coz of how instantaneous the crack showed up after I heard something hitting it. Now need to figure out if insurance will let me use the dealership to replace it so I don't have to worry about any issue with the recalibration. If not, I guess Safelite it is.
