Looks better in person. Don't see the gold color showing up in the pics.

    I
Had a rock hit about the same location and cracked out an inch and a half instantly. Makes me wonder if it’s a weak spot the way the glass is curved there?

Just put my rack on and was wondering how these bolts would hold up. I might swap them out after seeing this. I may encapsulate them in silicone also. It would make removing them more difficult but I don’t plan on removing them often.

At least that is generally covered by insurance. Could've been worse. Could've hit the paint.

Probably 'coz of how instantaneous the crack showed up after I heard something hitting it. Now need to figure out if insurance will let me use the dealership to replace it so I don't have to worry about any issue with the recalibration. If not, I guess Safelite it is.

Yeah ... checked it right away if the object bounced off the roof after hitting the windshield ... whew! That would have been worse.

replace stock one way valve and position new filter above the diff for deeper water crossing. This way rapid cooling of the diff shouldn’t cause vacuum/water being pulled through the seals.

I know for my only experience with insurance, if the vehicle is 2 years or newer they’ll replace it with OEM equipment and I took mine to a shop and they couldn’t fix it so it went to the dealership and the insurance paid for the fox.

No problem, that’s how safeco operates anyway.

It was! A guy lost his wheel off his trailer on I5 and I caught it on the opposite direction. Fortunately all cosmetic and easy fix stuff. I was the only one to hit it too. Just had nowhere to go with all the vehicles around me

I did this on my’17 AC and drilled a hole for it in the cubby but don’t have the cubby on the drivers side anymore in the new truck so taillight cavity it is.

Yeah I think that’s where I’ll end up putting it. I have 6’ of hose so I figured that would guide me to what spot I went to, the tail light should be close enough.
