I started around 21” but think most are close to 22” maybe. I think depending on the trim and fenders.

Was installing my constant load IM kit yesterday. Almost done just need to torque the bolts today, mount the rear shocks, and some little things. Will look dumb with stock 265/65R17 lol bit on well till I get new tires. Kit was pretty easy so far. Hardest part was the UCA bolts and constant loads were a bear... I'll post pics later. Curious Im sure the are on right but I saw the front shock box have a d/s side and P/S side. Does that matter? The boxes were in a pile when I noticed.. also ditched that sway bar.

It kinda matters. The drive side coilover should have a little more preload to compensate for the extra weight on that side due to battery, gas tank and driver. The DS shock usually has about 1/4” more preload. You can check by measuring the amount of exposed threads on each coilover.

Well, lift kit came out well. Later this week I'll have it aligned and soon I'll out on 32s or maybe some skinny 33s. Really happy with it and truck looks great besides the stock tire part.i have a small vibration in 1st to 2nd gear but goes away after 15mph. I would think it's because there's no alignment and or wheels/tires should be rotated and balanced. If this continues well ill ask questions here or just do a TW drive shaft.

Nice! Don’t forget to post some pics! Yours is 4x4 right? If so it might be the needle bearing. To check it, while driving with the vibs, turn on 4x4, if it goes away it’s the bushing.

edit, I was too quick asking for pics. Lola great!

Yes it's a 4x4. I'll add that to the list. I saw a video on that once it looked like a pretty easy job

Question: I noticed when I buttoning up everything and checking the torque the ABS line bracket doesent fit back on the leaf. Even if it did; it looks like it would cause stress on the line. What worries me is that leaf spring bolt rubbing or getting caught on the line. Anyone else have this issue? I've thought about putting some type of foam around the line

I’ll take a look at mine. I don’t remember having any issues or messing with that but that does not mean I didn’t.
Could it be the ebrake cable and not the ABS?

That’s kind of odd then. I don’t remember there being any other type of bracket there and I think that was just the stock bracket. Share a pic when you get a chance.

so I think I have a driveline vibration at 30 mph. I didn’t put any axle shims, what’s everyone putting with the HD leaf pack?

Did you add the carrier bearing drop? Is it a newer vibration? Could it be the needle bearing?
I went from cb drop first, then added 3° shim along with it. Still had vibes, from 45-55 or so. Removed the shims and the used stainless steel washers to drop the cb until the drive shaft angle was within .01 difference from front to back. I don’t remember what it was but maybe the angle was 8.23-8.24 or 8.25° from front to back, keeping the same angle.

I had bought mine, they’re not normally sold with any kits… at least that I remember ever seeing. I got 3° shims from here, but I don’t have them installed any longer. https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p120/Axle_Shim_KIT.html

I did the CB drop shims. I'm not sure if its a vibration now. I wonder if the stiffer suspension is amplifying the tire noise of my wildpeaks. Its been raining here so hopefully this weekend I can get under the truck and measure angles. I did order an ECGS bearing for the front diff as preventative maintenance.

Those look good, how does it feel when you drive it? Once you get bigger tires you’ll want to see about have the caster upped some. Maybe do that at home before you bring it in and ask them to keep it high even if it’s out of Toyota specs.

Feels alot better ever since I had this done this morning and ripped off that sway bar. I get my new tires next Friday. I really wanted some big MTs like I had on my YJ but I have to remind myself I'm driving this back to WV from WA. A So I just did 265/70r17 Kenda klevers rts. Needless, IM 4x4 lift was easy.
