Cost $20 in gas just to mow the lawn.

 

you're already mowing? Maybe get an 80 volt juicer for the grass?

 

Yeah. There were a few high spots.
Plus, I like to “mulch” the small twigs and stuff that fall off over the winter.

Then I sharpen blades. No need sharpening blades until I chew the small stuff up.

I have about 2.5 acres. Not sure electric is the way to go. That’s not including my parents places either.

 

it really costs $20 to do that land? My kubota does 1 acre for just under a gallon of diesel.

 

No, I was exaggerating.


But it will definitely cost me $20 or more just in fuel to do the 3 places I mow.
Probably closer to $30-$40 if you include truck fuel. My truck doesn’t get good MPG dragging a 12’x6’ trailer around.

 

Give it a few weeks and it might then, prices don’t seem to be heading the right direction anytime soon.

 

I gotta change the oil in my mower here soon to get it ready to go.

 

Here is an idea of what I fight with all year long. I don’t advise anyone to have a magnolia or a sweetgum tree in their hard. They play hell on mower blades.

And I got better things to do than rake a yard. All the dots in the lawn are sweetgum balls.

Dinged up a crossmember while doing some "off-roading" in Centralia; Should I be worried?!?!

I was just a bit freaked out because it's a brand spanking new frame that I didn't have to pay for; The noise it made sounded a lot worse than the virtually nonexistent damage it caused...

 

Neither; I like tattooed women, but I wouldn't want to get one myself...

I also do not think that movie theater was open!

 

What should I paint it with? Like, actual paint, or some sort of frame coating stuff?

 

maybe Eastwood chassis black or even just a can of rustoleum will do

 

Do I have to sand down the area? My frame didn't start looking really worrisome until August 2021; I had a new frame before Thanksgiving 2021, so I didn't ever have to worry about treating the frame!

 

I wouldn’t worry about sanding it down but I’m certainly lazy when it comes to paint and prep. A rough sanding can’t hurt though.

 

I'm gonna power wash the underside tomorrow; Honestly, it doesn't appear to be scratched up...
