Yup. I've been a power equipment parts service sales guy for most of my life. But went to school for industrial electrical automation maintenance .. that coupled with a paranoia of the modern world and a desire to have a homestead of 100% self sufficiency makes it so I've got an eclectic collection of skills lol

My old van. Never could get it to run good enough to pass smog. So i gave it to another guy that has the same van. He had to replace everything on the emission system. Ans i think they are still giving him shit about getting it registered

That is a good buy! Toyota van is the deal! weird as shit to drive but cool! The end of the story reminds me of a van that got left in the african desert and got stripped for everything of value. My excitement turned to despair by the end. Good story though!!!!!! Have you ever seen lord of war? When the plane gets stripped? lol

It was in really ruff shape when i got it. I did alot of cleaning and work on it. At one point someone cut out a shit ton of wiring harness that took me for every to repair.

if i could of gotten it smogged i would of kept it

Cue up @BartMaster1234 posting a pic of that awkward moment when Miguel was pondering his decision to buy the van

It was coolant - freeze plug popped out.
Got one of those universal expansion plugs put in tonight and so far it's holding. We'll see though... I had to modify it to fit deeper because it kept popping out as I got to the end of tightening it.

Literally had to refill the entire system too so I'm wondering how long I was actually driving with no coolant lol.
