I need to replace climate control bulbs in my 2003 tacoma with led type bulbs but cannot find any references as to which bulbs to use. The current bulbs are like the NeoWedge series LED's, they are not the normal wedge bulbs.

Does anyone know how many are behind the controls? Also how many are behind the gauge cluster?

I think there are 4 behind the gauge cluster. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

K & N air filter, antenna X 13in., window tint, vent visors, bug guard, floor mats, door sill protectors, tonno-pro tri-fold tonneau cover, pop n lock tailgate lock, Truck Champ chrome Nerf Bars, LED lights in cupholder mod, tailgate hose clamp mod, stainless bull bar, 1 inch leveling kit, rear under the bumper LED's, Halo headlights.
I say get the climate control interface off and see what you need and then try and find them. Check Radio Shack, eBay, or just google the numbers on the bulbs if you can read them. You might find the exact bulb or better yet, and LED replacement. Good luck, probably won't be super easy! GO Packers!

Thanks to all who have responded, still don't know which bulbs fit. I am going to try sending one of mine to the a vendor and see if they can match it with a compatible LED bulb. I will post the results here when I get it.

For the temp controls, I bought some at Radio Shack that were 12v and small & soldered them into the leads.
That fixed my problem - sorry I don't have the item # though.
It was tricky getting the case apart but it was doable, with a small screwdriver and some prying.

I still want to use replacement bulbs without special alterations. There should be some that fit. The image above is the type required I just don't know which size.:D

For the dash led's use 194's and you will need 4 of them. Make sure to get the leds that have 5 led's and that use a wide angle like these.
    http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=/specs/WLED-x5.htm

For the A/C controls it requires #74 bulbs it takes 2 for the controls and those bulbs can be single led's like these.

If you follow what I said you will have results like mine(I used blue ones).

why does everyone want LED? I hate when the lights inside are too bright when I'm driving at night, and they give you shitty hot spots, I want to go with blue, but definitely NOT LED.

Rab I had blue leds in my truck and they were beautiful with no hotspots etc.. well worth it imo. The ones id be worried about is on the climate controls but that's just due to design, instruments are fine
