What does this connector do?

    I was taking a few trim pieces off to put carbon fiber wrap on and when I popped the piece off on the passengers side air vent (near the stereo), I saw this connector (not plugged in to anything). It looks like there is a holder on the back side of the trim piece to hold it in place. Anybody know what it is supposed to be for?

    My guess is the air bag disabling switch, if equipped. I cant think of anything else in that location.

    Anything that's wrapped in yellow (or yellow & black, I can't remember) is a wire that is a part of the SRS system. In my DC that plug isn't used, the sensor is in the passenger seat.
