Could you post a phot of the tonneau cover opened up on one side, with the bikes off of the rack of course. I wonder if they will open as high or does the bike carrier hinder the operation?

Good to know, where would you suggest to purchase better skid plates from?

Are you satisfied and fully confident with one hood strut?

Hey Edster. Here ya go. Done by myself without ramps, just a tad sore today! I told my wife that she might have to help me with the install, she was adamant… I’m NOT crawling under there! Hardest part for me were the rusted front holes. I used the non security bolts to run through to clean out the rust, very tedious. I put anti seize on the bolts for when it comes time to service the transmission, figured with the heat generated down there I’d rather be safe than sorry with eventually removing the plate. Everything is nice and tight, no rattles. Great peace of mind for sure. A13BEBBF-779B-4A46-BA73-E155C3E3C192.jpg

They are the Prinsu mounting brackets. I just installed the rack and lights yesterday so I have not had a chance to make any adjustments. On the way to work today, I turned on the light and I was high, up in the trees. Will have to make some changes.

I've got a set of the DCLB sliders from westcott and I love them. It's hard enough to find sliders for DCLB but they were local for me so plus no shipping was a no brainer. I did the 20° so they hug the frame since I don't plan of ever getting more than a 3 inch lift and I don't need the step but I highly recommend westcott and their customer service is second to none.

That's a little different looking than mine...I noticed the bolts on the bent side...what do you have connected to it that extends?

    Nothing crazy!
I'll take a picture next time when I go ride. They open all the way, but I'm getting stronger struts soon.

    Ed,
They’re little extensions that came with the shield. I’m not 100% sure that I have them on correctly, I’ve seen two different ways to install them from pics here. I have a message in to Shaun to see if I have them on correctly or not. If not it shouldn’t be too big of a deal to switch them around.
I’ll post up the correct way once I get confirmation.

Oh, yeah...I see. A little more protection for that open area?

I see you have the cut-outs for the winglets...I just angled mine so they look a little crooked but I'm not bothered about that...it's underneath the truck! lol

I still have to order a set of specialty bolts for the adapter I misplaced. I should do that today!

    Purchased the
ValvoMax Oil Drain Valve - No Tools, No Mess, Fast Drain - for M12-1.25

To obviously make my oil changes easy and hopefully mess free too... it appears to be simple.. once installed unscrew and remove cover, screw on Valve release that has tube attached, make sure your catch container is positioned and has the tube in it then let that main vein drain.... mess free!! (Probably, hopefully)

I am almost due for a change and will put it on then. Its fairly heavy and appears to be a high quality item IMHO.

. Also since the weather was so nice yesterday I threw in my OEM bed liner that I got from 20% sale and put some
Black Split Wire Loom Tubing Wire Conduit on the wires that hook up my quad hella horns... so they blend in and you don't really see them behind the grill....

Local fab shops = less shipping.. depending on where you are. RCI or CBI or something equivalent may be closer than you think…
