Got to test out the inner fenders for a couple hours today on some trails. Still have a slight rub at full lock and full stuff. When I install the pivots that should completely get rid of it.

The firewall, my wheels are -30 offset as well so mine will be worse than a wheel with less offset. Still have a lot of room from inner fenders at least for stock setup.

On the coil over top hat what’s the ticket for tightening the bolts with the bypass mount on? The inner bolt especially. I was looking at just tacking the bolts to the top hat and putting the nuts up on top. Also, is the half moon piece still needed with the bypass mount in place? I’m assuming not but I don’t see this talked about, but I probably missed it so roast me if I did.

No need for half mount moon thing. For the rear nut I used a combo of swearing and a long extension and swivel socket and came at it from way down low.

I was able to get to it with a crow’s foot and pulling the coilover out and away as best I remember.

Yeah. I think I’ll just tack the bolts in. I don’t really see the harm.

Don’t bolt the bottom bolt in so you can pull the shock away from the frame and use a long extension for the back nut... super easy with the right length extension

Is there issue with flipping the bolts and tacking them to the top hat? More or less I like to simplify things as much as possible.

Only issue I could see is if the tacks weren't strong enough and you broke the weld, then you couldn't put a wrench on to undo it. Or if you damaged the threads at any point. If you're gonna weld them on, I would really weld them on so no chance of it breaking.

I definitely see your point on that, but I am confident I can stick it there good. Just seems 100x easier to do it that way. Not like I've tried it with the extension or anything yet. I just saw it as a pain in the ass before I even got to that point.

When we started on mine. I used a 24” extension and had no issues.

You're not wrong, it's a little bit of a pain but not that bad. I prefer the serviceability aspect of it over the minor inconvenience of it because the shocks only go on and off a handful of times.

I'm just going to smack the bolts in place as studs. Worst case I have to grind the head off and replace a bolt at some point.

If you follow what I said it’s actually super easy. Once you tac the bolts in you no longer have any “float” and it’s going to make installing the shocks more difficult

Tack a sheet of plate right there starting at the edge and angled up to meet with the winch plate/tubes and see if that's a look you'd like.
