The boss there had his employee text me Friday and ask if we'd started. I told him I had the short ones done, I shouldn't have cause his boss and my boss already talked about when they would be done. My boss wasn't going to tell him until today thinking they could pick it all up at once. The employee and I text deer stuff back and forth. He and I don't text business stuff to each other, that's between our bosses. He text me Friday around lunch and said his boss made him text me, my boss was like what the crap?

Friday afternoon he text me back and said have your boss let me know when you have 6 done. I said you tell your boss to call my boss, my boss signs my check and I do what he tells me.

He called me this morning, I didn't answer. He then text me and said check your voice mail. He said my boss is gonna make me call you, don't answer.

His boss then called the shop, I don't answer the phone, don't matter who it is.

His boss called my bosses cell which is what he should have done to begin with.

My boss told me they can wait for the rest to do this other job :D

First half of the PTO shaft is done. Square file in a round hole makes it ready for a 1/8” square for the other half.

He really is, he said his boss makes him do that to most of their customers. It’s ridiculous.

    Ok
I respect the fuck out of you but couldn’t you have used a 1/4” drive flex?
    Looks about the same size..

Always best to let the boss make the moves. The other boss needs to call ur boss, not pressure his employee to call you.

We deal with something similar in that all new parts have to be calibrated/cleaned at a nasa facility. People have to know when you call/email/pester to check progress they put you at the back of the line. Guaranteed, every time. Don't waste your time checking. It'll be done when it's done.

When I had ASM’s calling me I could tell when I was on speaker phone. I never cussed out a customer unless face to face but boy I wanted to so many times. So I would say 15 min longer now than it would have. ASM goes why? And I say. I’m going as fast as I can doing professional work. Now you have stopped me for stupid question. Now I have to crawl my old used up body back where I was and remember what part of the procedure I was on.
After a while they would walk down and ask instead.

At my old job I had an iMac that was "too old for Customer Service to use".
Maintenance people don't like changes, it worked and it and I got along fine.

IT wanted to replace it and I kept pushing them off -- the week after I retired they swooped in and replaced it -- another not so smooth transition from what I heard. Love it when a plan comes together.

I could have bought some universals and also found a shaft with universals already on it but I wanted to see if I could do it. The shaft is 1/8" square. The universals I turned to .350" O.D.

Yes sir it is. I apologized to my boss and told him I shouldn't have responded to him Friday in the first place and told him it won't happen again, it's his business.
