Starbucks. It's a BMW GS, it longs to be in it's natural habitat.

Yeah, not worried if they break when I fall. I’m sure that’ll be least of my worries. They are used only when riding on the road. We’ll, top case never Comes off but if that breaks oh well. I always keep duck tape and zips with me just in case

If you got stuff in them, they will be. Do you have crash bars on the bike?

It doesn’t take much, the plastic on the vario’s is super brittle. After my spill and losing the right side case, it sold me on other options. I’m a fan of the lone ridge moto bags as they are semi ridged and absorb a hit really well. They are waterproof and easily detachable.

    Did she get the car?

I think did about 200 miles today. Im beat. Thoughts about today:
    - Might need a little bigger windshield
    - Might need dirt pants, or to take wind liner out of mine
    - I found a badass "playground" with a mini jump and tabletop. Also hill climb and camp area. I had forgotten about it, then remembered when i was looking where to go.
    - Didnt drop bike :bananadance:
    - stock headlights leave a bit to be desired. Fog lights will help

I think i did 30 miles on gravel. It was fun trying out gravel mode and offroad mode. Here are some photos from today:

Yeah, touratech lowers and some other brand uppers.
I would def buy the lone rider however I wouldn’t do it until these break. At around 1500 for the varios they stay until they don’t work anymore.

I’d hope the lone rider bags would too.

It went really well, and I passed! Great instructors and a great gang of new riders. I think there was 6 of us in the class total.

Yesterday was overcast but relatively warm. Today though...holy hell it was cold and windy. Instructors basically said theyd hang if we did, but had every intention to recycle us to another class for day 2 cuz of the weather. They gave us the option and the class voted to stay. Lucky we did cuz the sun came out around noon, and at least made it tolerable with every layer I had. It was a sufferfest before that though.

Another great thing was that they had a 200 Duke in their stable, so they let me ride that all weekend to get good reps for my 390. Written exam/license appointment is Thursday, so I should be legal by the weekend!

Oh, hell no! We've looked so many freakin' Priuseseses, I can't even count. I have no idea how many miles we drove yesterday but I learned that what most people consider a well-taken care of car is usually a rolling mess to my eyes and literally no one looks under their car to see what rust is doing to their frame. Also, if you car is making inappropriate noises and you can't explain them? Yeah, it doesn't add to the "mystique" in a positive way. Toyota experience has taught me well! lol.

Ah, I know a few of those pics! Wish I'd been there!

I've got a pair of Kevlar jeans that don't fit me anymore if you are interested! Super comfortable and the mesh lining does a great job helping keep you cool on hot days but warm if you wear undergear - oops!
