I have a 2015 SR5 that I’m currently doing some work on to make it my “road trip” vehicle. I do a lot of driving and have been doing a lot of modifications to make it more comfortable/suit myself and what I do. But I have hit a snag. I was at one point dead set on buying some Clazzios in an attempt to fix the uncomfortable seats, then I thought about Wet Okele because they sound like they have thicker padding. Now I am debating just swapping out my base seats for some Sport seats with thigh extenders. What’s the best option? I already have seat jackers installed. Whilst those help, it isn’t the most perfect setup for myself yet. are the sport seats that much more comfortable in general? Are they also plug and play? Thanks guys.

Seat comfort is highly subjective and the "perfect" setup is probably a "custom" seat. Having said that, my sport seats are comfortable, but, the seats in my Highlander and Tundra are "more" comfortable. Depending on the year sport seat you find, they should bolt and plug right in. You'll not find the answer here, just suggestions on how to spend your money. Stop by a dealer with 2nd gen sport model, and take it for a test drive to get started.

Not sure if they all sport seats have this but in addition to the thigh extenders mine have side airbags and driver side has lumbar support. In my opinion they're very comfortable.

My base seats have lumbar and airbags as well. Mainly looking for the thigh extension, as well as I've read that the sports seats hug you better than the base seats do.
