It was just the one lady in the driver seat and she was reportedly stuck in there pretty good but otherwise fine

 

Went up over the weekend to $4.19.
Wonder what it’ll be by the time I actually have a DD haha

 

How's your commute?

 

Heard on the radio this AM it will be at least a few months before there's any signs of "relief", will likely keep going up in the meantime.

At least out here there is actually talk of CA putting a hold on the enormous gas tax we have, which would take about $1.20 off per gallon. Who knows if that will happen though.

 

Traffic, about 30-40 minutes each way

 

Not to ride the line of the P word... but I would rather feel the pain a little here if it means Putin feels it tenfold.

 

That would be a nice temporary help at least.

 

Ah okay, so not high speed. My commute is a normally empty 60-70mph hwy for 32mi. The LC gets like 12-14 on that, hence the rolla now

 

Ive already driven 100 miles today. Good thing i got a company truck and gas card

 

I had 275 done by 8 this morning

 

Yeah I have one section that’s 60, which is less than 10 minutes of the ride, then I get into 35-45 and lights.

Was quoted 8-12 weeks once I get an order in, but that might be optimistic.

Mom is cool about me coming over to
borrow her Outback when needed though.

 

My dad has gas and car allowance as well, so he’s good in his 4Runner. Good time for it.

 

I told my grandma when she is ready to stop driving I will buy her 04 Outback Sport for whatever she asks. Its a pretty base model one with 43k on the clock and garage kept. She's been saying she doesn't really need it so much these days.

Man that would be tough, at least in my heavy ass 91 octane drinking truck. Luckily I'm only about 10 min of city street driving from work now. Fill up maybe once every week and a half, unless there's a weekend outing

If 91 hits $7/gallon which I'm sure it will, that's gonna be over $100 fill ups for me...fml

 

I did today

 

I was 2-3 fillups a week at 19-20gal in the LC... prices aren't as bad as your but it still hurts. Nearly $800 a month, might as well have a car payment...

 

Oof yeah at that point an econobox daily would definitely be worth the initial cost.

 

Yeah it’s not fun even without the current prices. If I time it right…which means basically head home a while after rush, it’s like a whole different city.
