Love it or hate it.. I installed my old school silver Konig Countersteers from 2009 on my 2021 to give them a try.. they are nice and light weight.. bit over 17 lbs for a 16x8 wheel with zero offset.






I do like the black wheels on my other toys though. Oddly the pair of black Carbon Fiber wheels on my mountain bike cost more than any 4 aftermarket wheels l've looked at for my Tacoma except bead locks. Rays at $500/wheel are similar price at $2000 total.

A bunch of dudes from my highschool had a little Volkswagen club called Farfrummmuvin. I never owned a VW myself but I was around them a lot growing up. My buddy had a slammed 67 bug that I was a passenger in regularly. He drove that thing like a fucking maniac. One time we were driving around and he hung a corner way too fast and I felt the car kind of abruptly straighten out and start coasting. I look over and there's no one in the driver's seat....dude literally fell out of his car and was sitting in the street watching it roll away.

My uncle has had a ton of bugs. Probably 5 on his property now. 2 roadworthy and the rest are who knows what. Left and right hand brakes on one of those things. Sketchy to say the least.
