I ordered my sister the Spice Girls brickheadz set for her birthday and serendipitously found a way to avoid Lego using Fedex to ship that'll work for some people. I know a few of us have some uh issues with Fedex deliveries. Ship to a PO Box. Her order went to her PO box and shipped USPS.

I moved a lot during college and still have a PO Box from that time in town, mostly just to use as a permanent address for things. It's cheap enough to keep. Definitely going to ship my next order there and avoid the crap show that's Fedex in the northwest.

Edit: I fully recognize this is a very niche problem and an even more niche solution, but thought I'd share :)

Well, since I'm waiting to get my hands on the McLaren F1 car this weekend, i figured I would tinker with the Space Shuttle for a bit. I planned on just doing the Hubble Telescope and the stand to the Shuttle. Planned on taking my time with it because it's a fun build so far. But alas, that didn't happen.

Got my missing pieces from Lego so I can keep going on the castle. Gonna need another table, or some shelves or something.

Looks great so far! I personally like the Technic sets over the regular sets. It's more of a challenge to build them for me.

seeing it next to the keyboard puts it into perspective better than the stock images online - that thing is massive!

Starting a new project today, but I thought I might do some cheating and design and 3D print some rubber leaf springs. They actually flex pretty well, and I didn't have the ball joints for links anyways. We'll see how the rest of it goes. I'm also printing up some slip yokes for the driveshafts. LEGO might make a part for that now, but all my technic stuff is ancient.
