i did everything i could to keep the bike from low siding but once that was corrected i hit the curb sadly

 

its an annoying thing because after the wreck i talked to my buddies and they also slipped but they have traction control so they were corrected while my bike is to old to have it... so i have to do it my self

 

it sucks thats for sure

oh it was because of my job the meme was the tipping point lol

 

i low sided mine (Yamaha fz6r) with a few hundred miles on it turning onto some gravel. Front end washed out and down I went. I hurt the ego more than anything (had to replace a couple little things that broke) but definitely humbled me in the process. Put about 12k on that bike and I’ve moved onto a bike with abs and traction control.

ya i gotcha with this i didnt see anything in the road showing there was an issue even after the wreck we couldnt see anything in the road but three of us slipped on something

 

Back in 2015 I took a two week bike trip down to the Carolinas on my 2012 BMW F650GS. The second to last day of the trip I was in Western NC; broke camp early to hit a couple final twisty roads before heading home. It was fairly damp and foggy, but I didn't see another soul on the road. Coming up to a stop at an intersection, it was like slow motion: I put my right foot down, felt it slip on the damp pavement, slowly rolled the bike onto its side and proceeded to gently somersault into the drainage ditch. The bike and I were unscathed, and I was just thankful there was no one around to witness it.

Right as that thought was going through my head I looked up to see an elderly couple staring at me out of the window of their Buick.
