    Just call them and they can give you a part number and tell you if it’s in stock or not. That’s what I do, but being in Washington I just get the number and if it’s in stock than I call mckenzies and order it since getting king to ship stuff is kind of a pain in the ass.

    I think I pulled my tank 3 or 4 times than said fuck it and put a cell in…now I have to pull my bed to remove the cell…. Granted I have full access to the top plate without removing the cell so shouldn’t have to pull it.

    And I think I always used channel locks to get the disconnects apart cause I was to lazy to just buy the correct tool.

    I had to trim my hard lines under the cab to get a normal quick disconnect to fully seat. I don’t know what kind of shit Toyota used on that end.

    Yeah I never adapted to the factory lines. When I did my Ls I just installed 1/2” ss hard lines. And then I just cut the factory tank sender up and adapted an bulkhead fittings into it.

    Who did the install? The mounting location was not plated on a frame that is well known to be weak and not withstand these types of loads. Has been a common issue for guys doing CMRs and not plating the frame before install.

    What thickness is that tube? Very interesting on how the tube itself cracked so severely.

    I was kinda thinking the same. Frame not plated on the back side and not plated where the tube lands to the frame, that failure not too too surprising. But the vertical tube cracking is not good. Makes me think the shock bottoms out before the bumps and things need to be checked

    Looks like 0.090 - iirc the guy did a sh*tty job on the spring hangers - Oskar can make a better cage at this point.

    There are many people who think that more spring is the answer for lack of valving. I can only really speak for my own truck and have limited experience with other trucks in equivalent trail conditions but @Tacoma1192 and I have talked and are on the same page as far as ride quality in small chatter. There are obviously too many variables to make a generalized statement but I'm going to try a dual rate in the coming months. Been too lazy to dig into this project lately.

    I've tried a variety of flutter valving with a similar outcome. Again, limited experience in other setups and would be down to explorer the topic more but from my experience tunning out the small chatter is very difficult. It's important to notate the difference in expectations between each build. You can likely get away with running a stiffer rate spring on a desert truck that is expected to plow through whoops compared to a trail rig that you spend miles on small chop terrain and ride quality is the primary concern.
