this is awesome! did you do a full ride with fishing gear? or like plop down to the water with your bike cuz it was faster?

one of my summer goals is to ride from my house to some water and catch a fish then ride home. is that what you did?

The stream above runs right through the trail system so it was easy just to ride to some spots and wet wade then head back to the truck to gear up for the real ride (I'm currently in Atlanta, GA).

When I'm home in Idaho, I normally pack a 5 pc 3wt or Tenkara if I wanted to go further in the backcountry to fish.

I'm thinking of going mullet this year. I have a 160mm fork on a 135mm bike so looking to downgrade travel. Figured I may as well go with a 29er at maybe 130-140mm and see how it fares. Keep the long travel for gnar days

I thought that I could go to Outerbike colorado in july to demo a lot of bikes.. I just saw that its cancelled because of bike shortages. I suppose its very bad that manufacturers can't allocate a few units for demo.

If my work wasn’t a 30 minute drive away I’d consider it, but how do you avoid being a sweaty mess by the time you get there? Even in cold/comfortable weather I sweat lol

Tenkara is a sweet style to fish, when I’m in NorCal to work there’s a stream by the station I hit regularly for trout. Such a fun yet simple way to fish!

I don’t go into the office anymore but when I used to ride in I’d have to wear different clothes. It was about a 20ish minute ride and I’d definitely be sweaty. Depending on how sweaty I was I’d potentially take a shower haha.

Yeah we don’t have showers at work. If I worked a lot closer I’d definitely consider biking there.

Why would they? Demos are for convincing consumers to buy their bikes, no convincing needed right now
