Well with the price of gas going to the moon and less than 15mpg, I may look into a RTT and live in my Tacoma.

Rather drive the Tacoma than the Tundra at this point. That 38 Gal tank is no joke

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but if the rising price of fuel is that big of a financial issue for some people, they probably should have been budgeting better this entire time.

This is why I could not care less about gas mileage and gas prices. I don't drive around the lowest price I just put it in and go.

The bigger issue is the rising price of oil which makes everything go up.

I fill up at 1/2 a tank...but with current situation, I'm filling up at 3/4 tank.

One of the big reasons I chose the Tacoma over the Tundra...

It's a big deal for a lot of people because they have to drive, it's not a choice. So when gas prices go up they are forced to make sacrifices elsewhere. You cant honestly say you dont care if gas is 5.50 a gal instead of 3.00. Maybe you can afford it but itd sure be nice if it was cheaper

Not downplaying your point by any means, so many people these days are just plain irresponsible with their money; that being said, the rising price of fuel IS that big of a financial issue for most. It affects so much more than just the random guy driving a tacoma, and while many selfishly gripe that its costing them more, the majority are upsetty-spaghetti with the downhill aftermath that rising gas prices cause.

I'm fortunate that work is just 4 miles up the road from me (one-way), so my daily driver gets roughly between 9-15 miles per day depending if I have to run errands here around Dover.

I usually fill up at the same 1/2 - 3/4 mark. Always have. Having a full tank is always convenient.

I work from home so gas prices don't really effect me much.

Maybe not at the gas pump, but you pay for it in the rising costs of literally everything else.
