I drive my 2012 pre 4cyl. Back and forth from TX to Fl. My truck has 130k on it now. Im wondering when i should replace or carry with me some parts. My worry is getting broken down somewhere on the road. So what are the life expectancy of

Fuel pump, water pump, alternator, ect.
Any info of advise whould be great

Most things will give you warning of going out so as long as you stay up on maintenance and not ignore any issues/noises then you should be ok. AAA is always a good thing to have too, in my opinion. I have the top tier which gives me like 200 miles of towing or something crazy because I'm always taking long drives in my 2005/220k mile truck.

Has the truck been abused and had no maintenance for 130K? If it's in good shape drive it and don't worry. My 2011 has 130K and I regularly take long road trips in it, including some light off-road.

If you don't trust the truck for whatever reason you probably should get that reason fixed. Also, Murphy will make sure that if you're hauling around a bunch of spare parts that none of them will be the one you need.

If I were doing long trips as you.
I’d have a spare serpentine belt, quart of oil, and gallon of antifreeze.

Other than that, frequent inspection is all you can do.

My 07 has 223,000 on it. The only parts I've replaced was the alternator at about 180,000 and a U-Joint at 170,000. Other than that, just normal stuff like brakes, tires, batteries etc.
