    Chris Collinsworth wasted most of his career dissing the niners and Randy Cross did much the same trying to pretend he wasn’t a homie. Neither one came across as genuine. I liked Romo until he got comfortable and never much enjoyed Aikman. Joe Buck should have been an office worker or postman. Steve Young has really good insight on his weekly radio interviews but as with others gets bound up in minutiae. Very few can maintain the wonder/excitement/disappointment while regaling stories that bring depth to the broadcast.

    Robert Kraft has six Super Bowl rings, and recently gave his girlfriend, Dr. Dana Blumberg, an engagement ring as big as one of the championship baubles, we hear.

    Saturday’s inaugural amfAR Gala Palm Beach event honored fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, who shared from the stage that Kraft and Blumberg got engaged.

    We hear that the pair have been engaged for a couple weeks, but Hilfiger unexpectedly announced the news at the gala.
