I like a few of the one pieces for 2ng gens but still know I’ll have to trim for 37’s. And me liking to spend time in the rocks, I also kinda like my shittily fitting trailer products 2” flares that are trimmed to high he’ll since it still leaves the tires sticking out a good bit to protect the body

I honestly might not even run glass. I’ll mount it up since I have it but I’m gonna make all the mounts removable so it’s just clean main structure. Always had soft spots for truggys

These guys work on custom parts / customizing one that you don't like all the aspects of would be something they could do.

37’s should be good but I saw Rob (RJFab) on a BTDS episode explaining driving hard with 40’s or 39’s required a beefier hub size.

We’ll see. I’ll be on 40 splines. Probably won’t do 40s cause I’m lazy and don’t feel like picking them up. But we all know it’s gonna sit in the garage anyway

I’ll be doing all the wiring and plumbing on the truck. Only thing I’m not doing is structural. Process of hopefully building a new house here soon with a bigger garage to do it all

Can anyone confirm if the inner tie rod thread pattern is the same between FJ’s and Tacoma’s?

If so, I’ve got a set of camburg inner clevis and bolts from my FJ for sale. No heims. You would need to buy two JMX-12T left or right thread to correspond with your outer. Also would need the spacers. I believe the clevis’s stack up height is for 1-7/8 oal.

    $120 delivered usps.

edit: looks like these are specific to FJ racks. I have one of the those too if someone needs it -$150

Don’t think that will fit a Tacoma. The rack uses a m14 bolt

Not to mount it to the chassis, but the tie rod connection to the rack. I don’t think M14 is a size for tie rod to rack

Trust me. The camburg clevis for tacomas is a 14 mm thread.
