Anyone have any experience with the plastic spark wire tube being stuck in the engine??!!!

The first one popped right out.. the middle one is stuck... I thought it was just being a bit stubborn but pulled hard enough that it tore the wire out of it !!

Trying to get a pair of needle nose pliers on them but all I am doing it tearing the plastic apart.
Even tried some WD40. Is there some trick I don't know about?

    Thanks
    Todd

Picture? Reguardless sounds like you are past a easy/clean resolution. Is there room to put a socket on the spark plug and pull the plug?

Check Lowes or Home Depot for a pair of these:

Get some long reach needle nose pliers in there and pull on the boot. You are going to need to replace the wires now anyway. Try and be careful not to break the plug. If you have access to some hose removal pliers they are probably your best bet. Be patent. It will pop loose. For future reference, never try to pull a plug wire by pulling on the wire. You have to get it by the boot. Once you do get it out, use an air chuck or vacuum to clean out that hole before you take the plug out.

Are you referring to the coil pack/wire part here:
    upload_2022-3-7_12-48-42.jpg

This doesn't mean the spark plug is stuck, it means either the coil or wire is stuck. Which is a much better situation than a frozen or stripped spark plug.

Let the motor cool off completely before you do much more.

You'll really just need to find something to reach in there and pull the remains off.

Are they OEM or aftermarket wires/coils?

Sorry if that was bad wording ... Yeah the coil pack seems stuck in there... I was hoping pulling on the wire was going to do the trick because I have new coil packs anyway.
I appreciate the help.... Off to get some long needle nose pliers !!

I had a hard time getting the ones on the driver side out. Finally budged after a few minutes of yanking and head scratching. Didn't have any issue with the passenger side. Didn't come up with a trick or anything, just persistence.

Do you have a borescope by any chance? Would be really handy to see exactly what's going on in the tube.
