Don't get me pissin' started there either. They use NADA clean value every year. My coworked had some POS 80s pontiac convertible worth about 5k MAX, closer to 2-3. BUT if it was in the NADA Clean condition, it would be worth about 75k since, it would have been a clean collectors car, etc.

So, they wanted to tax him (with a 5k exemption in providence I think) 60$/1k for 70k = 4.2k EVERY YEAR just to OWN the car in Rhode Island. When it should have been exempt since it's actually worth less than 5k.

He just left it registered to his parents house in NH for a while and he's left since, but yeah it's shenanigans there too.

I'll keep digging.
But, I fear I'll be ordering...

Mine was like $65 this, year wife closer to $100.

What do you mean? I'm looking to buy an RSI for a shortbed 3rd gen.... don't want to get rid of my truck lol

 

Anyway, back on track a bit, does anyone want a set of 4 OEM TRD OR wheels? With tires but the tires will be pretty much smoked. Feeler before I chuck it up, date TBD when I swap over to my next set.

Well, those are 16s, I'm not going 16s.
Funny story about my tires though... Whatever store did my alignment a while ago gave me a good amount of camber. My summer tires got down to wire on the insides while the outer parts are fine. My current ones (STT Pro) are doing the same at this point, but still got some good rubber left. I might rotate the sidewall entirely when I get a chance and throw them on the back for now.

Worst case scenario, I'll either drive down on OEM tires (not screwed up ones) or get Wildpeaks by then.

 

I may be interested. What are you thinking for price? I've seen them anywhere from $150 all the way to $1200

 

I might be depending on timing/price... though in truth, I'm more after steelies for a set of 255/85-16 MTs

 

They're 16s and NOT in new condition probably in the 400 range.

 

I’ve got a set of (4) 16” steelies. OEM. Not the prettiest due to some rust, but fully functional. If I had time I’d get them blasted and paint them. Not sure if you’re looking for new take-offs or more of a beater/winter set. Can send pics if interested
