You know you can't just get gasoline straight out of the ground right? It takes A LOT of processing at specialized plants...not to mention getting the oil from the ground, to the refinery, to the distribution centers, on the boats, trains, and trucks, to your local gas station...

Demand goes up so prices follow. Demand goes down and prices go up to cover overhead costs on fewer gallons sold.

    Let’s Go!!!!

taken today 3/8/22 at the pump in San Francisco, California.

I didn’t bother to check why the prices seemed backwards as I was in a hurry with a company vehicle.

You know what's really strange about that? Home heating oil is more than gasoline, but it's less refined lol. I didn't read the whole thread but get the jist of it. Reality is when oil goes up so does everything else. I was paying about 2.75/ gal for heating oil last fall. It's almost 5 bucks a gallon. it just cost me almost $1000 to fill my oil tank and I have to do that several times a year. I filled my Tacoma yesterday for $50, but it had half a tank already. Gas/oil have gone up here 60 cents a gallon this last week alone, It all adds up. I'd rather spend that money on truck accessories. so when the prices skyrocket, the economy suffers in other ways. I'll be getting the supermoto out early this year if this shit keeps up!

So please explain the math when a 42 gallon barrel goes up $2 and the gas price goes up 25 cents per gallon. 42 x25 =$10. Why another $8 increase .

hahaha because of all of that stuff I just typed out. Make gas from oil expensive, get gas to people expensive, if gas more expensive, transport of gas more expensive. If more expensive to buy and transport gas, gas cost more.

Diesel for your house. You may not need it where you live, but we get to drive sideways in snowstorms, so there's that, lol.

Just walk away. Give me your pump, the oil, the gasoline, and the whole compound, and I'll spare your lives.

Lol, why do you need diesel for your house though? Is it powering a generator or something when the power goes out? Do you not have utility hookups from the street?
