I have been recovering as directed, by doing nothing. It's been almost 5 weeks. I could do this permanently. I spend a lot of time bonding with the pups. So basically, the 2 or 3 hours a day I'm active, most of it is spent with them, then eating, shitting, showering. The pain is finally subsiding for longer and longer breaks and I'm finally getting some sleep. The doc said 2 more weeks of incapacitation, then P/T. It's just a lot of pain all the time and nothing is helping. Trust me, what I'm doing just to get to sleep would kill most small villages.

The operation was a success. I saw the pics of the before and after. This was a revision of a previous rotator cuff surgery so there was a lot of frayed tendon and the old structural material that had to be cleaned out first. He used 7 bone anchors to add the patch to help with the previous hit. The first couple of weeks I was a freaking mess.







Recovery this surgery (#7 for me) has been the absolute best of any before it. I try to play with Phoenix and Maizy at least twice a day and if it's nice out, we're in the yard which is even better.

I saw all the tags and apologize for not jumping back on sooner. Thanks for all the concern. Especially since with me being as clumsy as I am.

I've also been trying to get tiny chores done without getting into trouble with Deb. She knows I'm not supposed to be doing anything. So it's been little things. Like my P80 MCK build. I've been busy with that, prepping it, and doing some personal preference modifications to it. I started taping off details I want to preserve. I need to order my stencils. I have everything else. Well, I want to get the glass breaker add-on. Besides being functional as the name implies, it's also going to hide some flash. It also adds just enough extra length and mass to the business end which is a more aesthetic look. I have to take my time with it all though so I don't push too hard. I need to order my stencils. Then I can paint it up!

I need to get off my ass though

Didn’t go but some friends of mine did. They all made it back with out any damage. I think that was a one off fluke with the nails.
