    Random question to anyone....
I want to attach this piece (it's hard plastic)
    Screenshot_20220308-162155_Google.jpg

    To this...it's aluminum

    Screenshot_20220308-162215_Google.jpg

I don't want to drill holes if I can help it (but I will if I must). It has to be very rigid; I put my arrow quiver in there and it fits extremely tight, I kinda have to yank it outta there. Any suggestions?

countersink the plastic, then attached it with screws to a block of wood. put a groove in the wood to match the bar at the angle you'd like, then make a second piece to sandwich the aluminum extrusion. screw both wood blocks together. bing bam boom

Hi Creed n Crew, haha, no torture going on.
No, I just been relaxing and chill out a bit since I got home...last Thursday evening.
Had a dentist appointment for check up and clean yesterday (my regular day off) then used a day today for check-up of my eyes. The eye Dr wants to do a Lazer procedure to my left eye, something to do with eye pressure (glaucoma) the eye drops have been helping but he say the pressure could be lowered with this procedure. I know my grandmother was near blind before she past and that was the most frustrating thing for her. I'm game to give this a try if it keep me from losing my eyesight.
Other than that, not much new news to share; a few less feral cats out back but there's still 4-5 around.
My son bought yet another turd of a K5 Blazer, this one is a little better structurally but not much. I get frustrated because he don't have mechanical ability to fix these things, and he's already had 3 tires come apart on it (I helped him a little but he got 4 brand new ones on it today...$800.00).
Feeling the back to work tomorrow blues, but at least gainfully employed.
Hope everyone has been doing well.
I need to check out this new poll and give it some thought

Ok,ok, I voted for new grille and wheels but have to add only if he sure it's going to relive some of the midlife tension. We can't take the money with us...
I bought the block letter Toyota Grille and some of the fake bead lock TRD rims for my truck. No midlife crises...don't think, more of dislike for new emblem and the block letters remind me of the 1986 x-tra cab that made me a believer of Toyota truck durability. The stock wheels on my Sport meh, just don't especially care for them.

Do'ers of stuff and fixers of things... :hattip:for those of you following along at home, you may have noticed my absence for the last little while. Well, sorry but the holiday is over. In another life, I'm a photographer, and one of things I do each year is support the Wounded Warrior Run BC which is a fund-raising event for Wounded Warriors Canada, a national charity providing mental health and other services to inured Veterans and first-responders. The team consists of six runners and a small support cadre. They run 500 miles from Port Hardy on the northern end of Vancouver Island to Victoria, the provincial capitol at the southern end. This year, we've raised well over $150,000!
