    May be picking up some Toyo Open Country III tires, on the very wheels you're running. Less than 1k miles and still have those little nipples on them, and a date code from a few months ago

    285/70/17 so I'll be back down to 33s.

    Does AC and DC, has high-frequency, and has pulse as well as a ton of other features.

    Arrives Friday, and apparently my gas lens and clear cup kit arrived today.

    Got it strictly for aluminum, but it'll come in handy if I'll ever need to do sheet metal of any sort.

    They are nice for aluminum. Used to have a miller dynasty. Bought it to make an intake plenum for the evo. Never made it but it was fun as shit to use.

    Aluminum sure is temperamental as fuck; it just loves to soak up heat, and retain it.

    I've been good at school to not burn or melt my coupons, but others can't say the same.

    I'm using a collet body at school and apparently a gas lens is supposed to make a huge difference, especially with fillet welds. We'll see though.

    This kit should hold me over for awhile.

    Gas lens vs collet body; gas lens direct shielding gas directly at the weld which means it's used more efficiently.

    You can turn down your shielding gas to about 15psi vs the 30psi on a collet body. With a collet body, you run the risk of getting some porosity with air entering due to the turbulence it causes.

    That's nice! I got my dynasty from some guy on CL and it had everything. I never had to mess around with combos. It basically worked real nice when I got it. Im starting to learn that knowing what does what is what and the effects is really makes you a good welder. Thats the hardest part. Im a certified MASTER GRINDER though!

    On another note; holy shit the new 33's feel so much smoother and are significantly quieter!

    I know the Coopers were due for replacement, mainly because of how hard the rubber was on them. But you can't even hear the Toyos at all.

    Gas mileage should improve some as well being that they're lighter.

    Sold the Sequoia wheels for labor cost to dismount 8 tires, and mount and balance 4.

    The wheels would've required 1" spacers and though I've ran spacers before, I didn't want to on such a large vehicle.

    So I got the tires mounted on my Raceline's which are the wheels I plan to keep on anyway.

    The Toyos ars E load so you know I'll be airing down like a mofo :mudding:
