That's the problem with you kids nowadays, always "gotta go fast". I'm a slow guy myself.

Why, there's nothing better than an Amish romance novel. If it's a really steamy one, the main characters end up kissing in the first 300 pages!

The way I look at it is, By the time I'm 80, I'll have lived as though I'm 90. Every stop light beat, every grocery cart walked past is you taking more out of life.

Are you a fan of AI driving? Theoretically I love the idea, sure I love driving and don't ever want a machine to do it for me, but all the time I could spend doing something else while it was driving me? Fantastic

However I physically enjoy driving at 45mph because peak human prowess is 23.4 mph. Don't get me wrong, I'll do the speed limit... but only when someone is watching. I'm very attentive and speed up when someone is coming up my tail, but I don't wanna.

If you were looking for a point, there wasn't one :burp:

    lol it's ok I'm buzzed

I like the idea of something else driving if I'm tired mainly. Or long, straight road trips (which make me sleepy). But around town, no, I'll always be driving.
I actually consider driving therapeutic for myself. I make it a point to drive at least a few miles everyday.

    also lol

    I thought the same thing.
Also cool to see how no wood eating worms or anything have destroyed it.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I usually drive as fast as I can get away with. One thing I've noticed is that Google Maps sends alerts about speed traps. I had it running last weekend in an area where I didn't need it. Normally I would have turned it off in the area since it was 30 miles from home.

It came on and announced a speed trap up ahead. It was right!

One area where I think AI driving will be great, once the day arrives that its evolved and is safe/easy, is (having watched relatives get older and then lose the ability to drive yet would still like to be able to run an errand) that it'll give some independence back to older and impaired people, which is awesome. I enjoy driving, so it doesn't interest me much, but for people who don't care, hey why not.
