I wouldn't trust the structural integrity of fixing that cab in the event that you were to wreck it. That metal and structure will never be as strong as original. For safety purposes, replace the cab.

This ^^^. Unless you wanna die in the next roll over. The structural integrity is gone in that cab.

Send it to Dave Kindig and have him make it into a four door Taco convertible?

There is a reason it's totaled. It has to be pretty much perfect just to get the glass back in it. The glass is a structural part of the cab it is glued in.

Let’s here the story. Ones that start out like this are always legendary:

LOOKS like the B pillar on both sides are intact, it MAY be salvageable, but there's no way to tell without really digging into it. DON'T guess and DON'T try to finagle it yourself if you don't know. As others have said, both the cab, along with the windshield are integral to the structural integrity/safety of the cab section. Since these trucks are not unibody, it's not quite as critical to overall structure and it makes it easy to swap out the entire cab if needed. But, again, how's the frame itself? From the looks of it, the frame may have also twisted from the impact (you can't tell just because all four tires touch the ground).

Take it to a qualified body shop and have them check the frame and price it out. If the frame is OK, it's highly likely that it will be cheaper to swap the cab (with a salvage) than repair it.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Depends on your goal with the truck.

    Restoration?

Neither the Martin Brothers nor Bill Carlton would attempt to 'correct' what's there.

Your gonna need another parts truck to complement the one you just bought.

Woods beater? Time with a sawsall and Ian Poulter might make something interesting.

My wife's ex-husband spent about $400 a week for beer - and that was on packs, so no bar markup. To this day, I just can't see how someone can consume that much liquid, let alone beer.

On a guess, that has a lot to do with the "ex husband" part.

Yeah - he was rarely NOT drunk, and his beer spending resulted in their account being constantly overdrawn - and she worked at the bank. As a bank employee, it is an especially big no-no to overdraw your account, theory being if you can't manage your own money, how can you manage other people's money (plus it provides the temptation to embezzle). When she showed his divorce attorney the receipts (she kept them for quite awhile knowing eventually she'd file), she (the attorney) was flabbergasted and told him to cut his losses.

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
I just gotta say how can anyone buy a roll over and then ask for suggestions on how to fix
Not saying this type of thing is not possible but this has nothing but disaster written over it

I think even an experienced body man would hesitate to tackle this. I think that body shops still buy "rebuildable" wrecks to repair and sell. At least they used to in order to give their employees something to work on when the shop was quiet. The goal being to do that and make some money on the sale. I don't know that anyone would buy this as a rebuildable since so many parts are required and a lot of labor is required.

That was in the old days when cars and trucks were much easier to work on, I can't imagine how much more complicated it is now.

I love his work. Or rather the work his crew does with his designs. Some of the vehicles in the background look as interesting as the ones they feature on the show. :)

First, I do not know anything about body work. But I find it mind boggling that anyone would buy a truck in that condition and not know how to repair it and what’s involved in repairing it. Body work is not for unexperienced amateurs. And just because it starts and runs great doesn’t mean there isn’t other unseen and unknown damage. I’m assuming the insurance company considered it totaled. I’ll just say good luck with your project. As others have said maybe that shit will just buff out.
