    Mainly because I'm curious as to what happened to the motor exactly, nothing more.

    I've read all the issues about smoking when going up hill, burning oil and all that.

    But damn, that thing sounded *done* when they tried firing it up.

    I wonder if they have a tune that's contributing to it. Otherwise dry sumps may need to become a mod for even moderate offroading in 3rd gens.

    A lot of them are installing catch cans which supposedly helps. There's a big thread on it in the 3rd gen forum somewheres

    A red or white access or double cab 2nd Gen, V6 stick shift would be awesome.

    I always liked that bright blue color, but they seem to look better on an X Runner versus a 6 lug.
