    Speaking of generators, I’m thinking about putting a 1500 watt inverter on my car battery. To run my laptop and a coffee pot. Maybe a small microwave.

    I want to mount it in the back but the battery is in the front. Is it safe to run that much wire. And if so, what gauge?

    What is a good brand? I’ve read enough to know it has to be pure sine wave to run a computer.

    Does it actually work good? And do you need to keep the engine running?

    Edit: and what other components do I need?
