Wet and slushy crap coming down now! :annoyed:

Quickly grabbed the truck and put it under cover so I don't have as much of a mess to clean off before work. You can see what was wiped off by the wipers on the windshield...

Thanks John! I'm kind of a jack of all trades, master of none. Believe it or not all those studs are within level! Trying to do all the work on the house myself. The electric panel swap is one of the few things I'm getting someone to help me on. I can add circuits and run wire, but not even gonna attempt a panel swap.

So much far it to change over to rain around 10am. Guess the storm figured it'd head alittle further south. I just cleared my truck five minutes ago. Guess the snow wanted to stick around for awhile. So far there's 3" of wet heavy snow covering everything and still coming down fast.

Rough. If a del Sol can't fit under there, no car is going to. Glad the driver is ok, but that's a shame, looks like the Honda was in pretty good shape and not one you see often.

Perhaps we need a Kaizen to discuss this. You bring the post-its! And yes, that should be pegging the sarcasm meter! :)

Pics look like they were taken at our cabin. Been thinking about using a leash on our smaller dog as we've been seeing some large flying-predators lately...and rumors of four-legged ones as well.

I was more worried when she was a puppy about a hawk or owl taking her ( speaking of which, I saw an owl flying between the trees that lone my road yesterday as I drove home). Now, she a hefty 10 pounds, so that might be a back breaker for these birds.

We saw a pretty large owl a couple weeks ago at the property. It took off as we approached and was harassed by a turkey-vulture. Guessing perhaps a nest was nearby and the owl may have been considering a snack...if they eat turkey-vultures.....yuck.

I hate turkey vultures. Every time I see one the first thing that comes to mind is that cartoon from Warner Brothers. The second thing that comes to mind is the numerous times I have walked my country road only to find one or two devouring some dead animal. They wait until you are almost upon them, then take off with that lumbering, slow flap of their wings, only to go just high enough to land in a tree several feet above your head. Lazy. Then they stare at you as you walk by, waiting just long enough for you to pass, then return to their carcass meal. With their little pea siazed heads and big bodies, they look very creepy. Fortunately they are scavengers.

Those Turkey Vultures are nasty. I work at Conowingo Dam occasionally and there must be dozens. They will land on your vehicle and eat the rubber off your wipers and scratch up the paint.
