Not the prettiest, but she's not going anywhere. Definitely better than what was there before

Gotta wait until 2:30 to pick up the tie rods

    It is aweful, yet awesome

Clearance with the tire I was worried a out, but looks to be okay. Hucking truck this weekend, so we'll see if it rubs when aired down. I was planning to buy some small spacers anyway to help with that, so may end up as a non-issue

The pink is not visible from the front view of the car when the wheels are one, for better or for worse lol

Outer tie rods are also unpainted, so more room for bad decisions there

If anyone gives you flack just say you really support breast cancer awareness for the pink, suicide awareness for the yellow, and ovarian cancer for the teal. Can’t be mad at a nice guy raising awareness.

edit: and pancreatic cancer for the purple.

Good thing another set of these came with my spindles lol

Just means I'll probably have to drive across VA without a speedometer on Sunday

i keep my gps open on my phone, either waze or google maps and it shows the speed if your speedometer doesn't work.

Yeah that's what I'll end up doing. It may work with only 3 sensors and just display a code, but I'm not sure

I think it pulls the speed from the rear sensors so you may be alright, but I don't know for sure.

Well interesting predicament is that the side I just did rubs, so might have some slight bent spindle action?

    That sucks big time

Well that’s a huge bummer. I wonder how quickly you can get some spacers.

Yeah I was planning on getting some of the Bora slip spacers, but a set of spider trax would probably be easier to come by if I didn't want to completely reverse everything right now

The good thing I guess is the SPCs can kinda work out some of the camber issues related to a bent spindle, but the offset issue is still there. And it's really just a band aid

Oh are you thinking that the spindle you just installed is bent? I figured it was just from the gussets, which require a lower backspacing than stock. If the fitment was good on the gussets then my money is on a straight spindle.

Fitment was fine of the gussets on the spindles and the driver side clears fine, but not the passenger. The FJ they came was rear ended iirc, so no front wheel impacts.

Ooooo then yeah, that’s a big bummer and looks like some bent spindle action. I wonder if you could have them replace it with a non bent spindle.

The ones that are original to my 4runner aren't bent, so I could take that one off, gusset, and reinstall later. But for now I'm thinking I'll have to swap back to the OG passenger spindle so I can drive back to school on Sunday.
