Aces...seeing you have a 99 Taco...the 4runner below is an example of what I stated in my post. It's a 99. Also the 86 IROC as a supreme example of it. Boughtit about the same time you bought your guitar. Younger guy with wife and two kids sold it to me...he didnt need the cash or more space but was listening to some voice in his head to sell it. Paid 3800 for the 4runner in 2016, paid 4500 for the IROC in 2006. Both are garage queens (won't fit under the bed) with the IROC receiving about 50 miles per year in affection. I could triple my $$ for each easy now if I wanted.

    The 4runner replaced the void of my 85 4runner I sold...regrettably

The IROC replaced my 89 5.0 LX mustang I sold...regrettably. my first brand new car

You do what's right for you though

My buddy gave me a ride to work waaay back in the 80's in one. Rootbeer brown. At that time, it was the fastest car i'd been in.

TPI...yes. it's a dog compared to the mustang tho. 5.0 AT (no 5.7 MT in 86) so it's like 195hp at the rear wheels. What it's is tho is an all original numbers matching original paint buggy. It gets attention

I was gonna say, previous to the irok my buddy had a 5.0 trunk coupe. They used them as state patrol vehicles for a bit in indiana. Anyway, yea the mustang was much faster which is prob from weight considering they were what 225hp? Maybe 190 at the wheels?

Mustang was interceptor in the 80s for many state police forces. Best bang for the buck for 80s muscle. But it's really a straight line car, or sideways in the turns. I'd eat 5.7 IROC in 1/4 mile for breakfast in that car and it had 3.73 econo 5MT gears lol. TheI IROC however slower, handles like it's on rails in hard cornering

    Both are fun

I had a highway one a while ago. Fantastic guitar. The previous owner put active EMGs in it though and I HATED them. I should've swapped em out but instead got rid of the guitar entirely. I sold it for $650 at the time. I'd be interested in yours in fact, but I'm all the way in Ohio and wouldn't want to pay to ship it.

No, I think they're Chinese made, but the machining is nice. Yes on PRS. It's an Asian PRS, they probably make the bridge anyway.

On Slayer Angel of Death the interlude. Around bar 87. Are you guys sweep picking across the strings or alt picking? I can't decide which is better, but since you mentioned this song I checked it out and it's fun as hell. Hard too. But I like the interlude.

The speed that song is is pretty overwhelming. I am too old for that shit, but I love that interlude lots of good stuff in there for metal.
