Wranglers are cool, don't know if I'd want one that plugs in.

I read something was happening at the po unrelated to vehicles, can't recall what. Sounded like a half way decent idea.

I wouldn't mind having a Sienna, the nightshade edition looks very good. No need for a minivan tho.

Yeah just idea at this point. A Ford Transit Connect or Mercedes Metris makes more sense, but the Ford is well a Ford, the Merc only gets “ok” fuel consumption…neither has AWD.

Like the mpg and AWD on the Sienna, as usual nothing really quite fits the needs/wants/price.

I hope they make an AWD Sienna Prime soon with some decent EV range.

Even though it is a rebadged Peugeot, wish we got the Proace, hybrid Prime version would be even better. Unfortunately Toyota seems disinterested in bringing commercial vehicles here. We haul more stuff than we do people (like never). Wasn’t too keen that I couldn’t get rear seat delete, rubber flooring and vinyl seats in my Tacoma. Nothing I can’t address myself, would of been nice from the factory.

They do have a n EV version of it.

I think Hino had some issue with mpg ratings or something. I don't think it was as bad as dieselgate, but that's what it reminded me of.

my original work fleet was 2010 ford transit connects. Abused the hell out of them and they held up well, started replacing them with dodge grand caravans, better mileage and more space. Dodge discontinued those so now I’m back to 2022 ford transits. They work fine, mpg sucks, they take take a year to get, and I can’t even order one from my dealership now. They also say once ford does open orders, nothing will arrive before 2023.

I looked at the Pacifica hybrids, the flooring arrangement made things difficult for my purposes, the flooring isn’t flat due to the hvac running under the seats, otherwise that initial 30 miles on electric would have been ideal.

We wouldn’t be hauling cargo all of the time, mainly if needed to toss the animal crates in there if there was an emergency. Other than that mostly bicycles, moto gear bags and couple totes. Would be nice if it was a full on cargo version though.

Our conversations go like this, “we should sell the Trooper, the old Tacoma and I should get a hybrid car for commuting and you can use the new Tacoma for your short 3/4s of mile commute. Keeps the miles off the Taco too.” She shoots back “can it fit animal crates?” “ Well no…SUV is better for that, but mileage is so-so. Hey how about a Hybrid Sienna? Decent mileage, AWD, cavernous cargo room. Rear seats are removable, can be used as a people hauler for the rare times family visits. Am I seriously considering a mini-van!? Fuuuuck I am getting old…”
