Just purchased, received, and mounted a brand new set of Fn five star wheels and falken wildpeak at3s tires. Went with Discount tire co. for the install, and just got back home. Noticed they scratched two of the four rims where typically a cap would go. In my case, I opted to go capless, so it’s noticeable to me. What should I do? I’m a tad angry, but super excited about the wheels and tires, so don’t really know how to handle the situation. Please, any advice would be appreciated.
    THANKS!

Did you buy the tires and wheels from Discount? Call them, be nice and let them know what happened because they can't make it right unless they know about the damage. Discount has excellent customer service and they really do want to make the customer happy. I don't know what they can do for you if you did not buy the wheels and tires from them. Maybe a partial refund on the install.

    Good Luck

I would walk in and talk to them, just to see what they would say. Be respectful. Im not sure what the correct fix from Discount is... Explain what your expectations were and then tell them what you would like done. Be prepared to work with them. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

So I bought the tires from discount, but not the wheels. Ordered them from Fn wheels directly. I will most definitely handle it respectfully, just hope they will maybe at least give me some money back or compensate me in some way.

This happened to both my FN and SCS F5s, and they replaced both. I tried keeping the damaged wheels but they kept them (probably for insurance purposes). This is a known problem when DT tries road force balancing the wheels.

I've had a similar experience with them. They offered money back, which I applied towards a matching spare.

OP, can’t you buy center caps for the FNs?

First of all, I'm sorry that happened with you. I agree with some of the responses; just go in respectfully and I'm sure you'll get a positive outcome.

I say this because my experience with Discount over the years has been fantastic.

My last experience with them was on Feb 4, the same day I drove my new Tacoma off the lot and went directly to Discount Tire to put on my new wheels and tires. I stood outside watching them put on the wheels and tires because I was so damn excited! As I was watching, the tech kindly pointed out a scratch on one of my wheels, just so I knew that he did not personally scratch it. I appreciated that from him. I also could tell he was really excited to put the wheels on, so I know he was taking extra care.

So I think a good outcome is waiting for you.

I think they need to secure the wheel on the balancing machine in that area you're referring to. There's going to be some tool marks, I could be wrong, post pics.

Pics of said scratches? Are they in a spot that every time they need to be balanced the adapter is gonna scratch them?

DT dropped my buddies tailgate on a jack handle on his '20 Cummins. They wrote him a check after the adjuster looked at it. They have insurance, they'll likely replace the damaged wheels.

I will take some pictures tomorrow in the daylight. It’s not terrible, but I wanted to share my experience to get some good feedback, and that’s exactly what most provided on here. Will keep y’all updated, thanks everyone. I haven’t photographed the damage yet, but here is my rig. AFE912F2-D878-494E-856D-5488D631ED86.jpg

I had an issue with DT last year. Sent an email to corporate explaining the problem.
District mgr called me. Then store mgr called and set up an appt. When I got there he was waiting for me, fixed issues himself and gave me $200 back. This was on four 35" BFG m/t's purchased there & aftermarket wheels on my 2015 jeep rubicon.
Pleased with outcome. Drove my 2021 TRD OR straight there from the dealer for 265/75 BFG a/t's
