I taped the connection of the red and black plug. Then I took the black/red wire and put on a one of those ring wire connectors on the end and grounded it under the horn bolt.

Resurrecting this thread. Is there consensus on the best aftermarket camera to use when mounting in the oem pro grille hole?

Maybe a description or link to that camera would be helpful...

I've got the raayoo, not installed. Ill need a set of something similar to 'reducing washers' as we refer to them in the trades (as mentioned earlier in this thread). Now that I see that one though, I am wondering if the degree of the pitch could be useful in determining how close my front bumper is to something because I'm assuming with it faced down like that the bumper would be in the fov.

Also, after mocking up the raayoo its clear to me that the one you have pictured would be easier to mount because of it's square shape.

The raayoo is the perfect size- so perfect, in fact, that it just barely slips through the mounting hole on a pt228-35200 pro grill which necessitates a washer/ bezel of some sort.

I’m still using the ruyeot, I like the way the rayoo or whatever looked better, but happier that I know I won’t have any issues with it rotating and I don’t have anything sticking it in place besides an easy to remove mount.

All the ones I posted work with the ABC kit, that’s what I have.

Can you clarify this? I have the rayoo plus anytime and I am getting no imgage from the front cam. I taped the red wire coming off the yellow plugged RCA as I have read that it is not needed (and hot). The pair of red and black wires off of the black RCA (that connects to the red rca on the cam) - I cut/taped the red and only grounded the black (after separating the wires). In your comment it seems like you are saying you grounded both the red AND the black for that pair- is that correct?

Any info would be helpful and much appreciated!

Did you ever figure this out? What did you do with that pair of black and red wires?

I just finished the install and let me tell you what I did to make it work.

I installed this using a Heigh10 headunit, so it may be slightly different with yours. The RCA video cable has a small red power cable on each end. I used the red end next to the headunit and connected it to the 12v power cable at the headunit.

The RCA red cable on the camera end is attached to the red cable on the Black / red wire pair. The black cable on the pair I grounded. This made it work.

@DamGuide, are you still making the 3D print mount for the Natika ABC?

I’d be interested in purchasing the mount too if you are still making them!
