Who has an AK (and variants)?

Yeah I ordered a variety from gunmagwarehouse last night. Kind of sucks that a handful of websites have what I want, but not all in one place. I'll need to order more eventually if I ever do any local matches.

 

On the topic of magazines, will any magazine for an AK-47 work correctly in a MAK-90? I'm thinking yes, but want to be sure.

 

Yes mak90 are double stack from the factory. The misr-10 was single stack and couldn’t use surplus unless you opened the magwell.

 

One of my favorites is a Type 0 Izzy Long top bake with Bakelite rear lug

Allow me to offer my recommendation sir. We have two fine bakes tonight. A rare vintage bake rear lug type 0 Izzy long top and a AG4S Izzy long top bake. You'll notice the crown jewel of the bake lug is well a bake lug. This was quickly changed in the type 1 to a steel lug. The AG4S uses a special polymer called AG4S which give the magazine a more light orange color. Both are a very good choice and some of our chefs favorite to show off.

 

Where is the best place to get reliable steel mags? Are Magpul mags for AK's reliable?

 

Theres a ton of places, but I go to Apex Gun Parts frequently.

 

Normally I’ll buy one type of mag and try it out. Some times ak’s can be picky on what type of mags they like. That being said I’ve got 8 magpul mags I’ll be listing for sale soon <.<

 

apex gun parts usually has good deals or numrich. If you're on Reddit there's a ton of guys selling steel mags on there. Literally the possibilities are endless on steel mags. Just don't do Korean or American steel mags. Magpul work good too.

 

Which group on Reddit do I need to follow for good gun deals.
